Labour weekend is good, but then we will be pretty easy.

We have suddenly got a busy time ahead of us, but after August we should be pretty sweet.

We have family in Dunedin, so starting from there is good.

We are flying to Christchurch on 4th October, picking up a Motorhome and travelling down the coast until we run out of country. Plan is to overnight on Stewart Island then return to Christchurch by the 11th, probably up the middle of the country. We then fly back home.

Anyone wants to join us, they can. These dates fit in with daylight savings - one of the original suggestions in this topic - and the school holidays - essential for those student cachers!

I also feel that if no one puts a line in the sand and actually says 'I am going' and puts their money down, then exactly nothing will happen.

So anyway, we are off for a great adventure. Who's going to join us?

You just want to spend the one night on stewart island? I'll need a rough idea of other nightly stops so I can get a clearer picture of the trip in my mind

We are still keen to follow GC down, but will play things by ear. We have visitors on the 4th/5th and an appointment on the 6th in chch and after our unexpected trip to India , we will be counting our coppers and holiday en_title_ment . However, it is possible we could make a planned flight to the island, fingers and toes crossed.
