Pesky MonkeyAn opportunity to travel together to India in the name of “work” was not one to be taken lightly, but like all committed cachers, a google map cache search was a "must do".

India, unfortunately is not well endowed with caches, but as luck would have it, there was one near the city of Mumbai (where we were to be based). Past logs determined that retrieving this cache was likely to be a challenge, with it being necessary to keep a close eye on and a good hold on our GPSr.

We subsequently set ourselves a target – milestone 350 cache in India.

KiwiHarvs , the caching editor of 'The Box' in 'The Press ' (Christchurch of course...) published this article today (6th November 2007).

 Get out: adventures with GPS

Cool ->  Get out: adventures with GPS

Aren't we lucky in New Zealand to have keen cachers who are also able to write about and promote the sport! Many thanks KiwiHarvs for this article and also for the competition that 'The Box' sponsored for the cover where cachers supplied the photo.

There are other photos published inside 'The Box' and there is a link to these from the article. Congratulations to the winner!

As a bonus, there is also an associated link How it works: GPS by rediguana. Well worth the read!

I was browsing Wikipedia and searched on "Geocaching". All sorts of interesting articles there - some are out of date and have to be read in conjunction with the new Geocaching Listing Guidelines of course, but bear in mind that there are other Geocaching Organisations besides Groundspeak and some points are related to these. Some slightly different perspectives than from Groundspeak too.
