Seeking Traditional Cache.

I have a wonderful son..who could show a lot of us grown ups a thing or two.
Cruising along the highway holding the GPS in hand he say s "Mum you are going to fast" "Mum you are going to slow" by a few Kms either side of the speed limit out of the mouths of babes...no cruise control in our car.
We close in on our target zone...out the car we jump...he's off...Mum's still getting it all together..we point our GPS in the right direction and the hunt begins. We close in on GZ...What we looking for Mum.....asks for the hint.."We are looking for a fallen tree" this one Mum he asks looking...we look but no evidence of cache in sight..

 Quote Hint:
"The waypoint should be considered an approximation at best since the tree canopy was testing the abilities of my etrex. It did assure me it had an accuracy of 10 to 12m so it shall be interesting to see how you go on it"

We have an Etrex and a bush canopy has proven to be a bit problematic at times..
We read the hint... From station Five seek the base of the fallen one.
J says hey Mum "I have seen those" so we go look and sure enough he is onto it...we find the fallen one. J charges along to the end, "I found it Mum".  We open it up great excitement as always.."look Mum a Medal can we swap", we find something of value and write the log up..

This cache was in a beautiful Kahikatea Stand with the music of birds all around.  They kinda of got lost in J's excitement on this one day.

The Medal Says No 1...how appropriate.
J is 9 years old.
