A Travel Bug is any item you wish to travel from cache to cache. Attach a Travel Bug Tag to an item, activate it and send it off Caching.

But where to buy Travel Bug Tags?

From a Groundspeak Store or International Partner.

Look under the  Links Section: Home >> Links >> Geocaching >> Official Sites

Be wary of buying Travel Bug Tags from other sources, like TradeMe or eBay. Although there is no obligation to buy anything at all from any Groundspeak Store or International Partner, you may end up paying more than you should.

So at the very least, check the price. And availability.

And as an (unashamed) plug for fellow Kiwicachers, I would suggest purchasing from the Official New Zealand  Groundspeak International Partner Store - Swirl Creations . Most items ship overnight after payment is received. And of course, you get great service.
