Sunday 14th October 2007 is International EarthCache Day. This is the second year this day has been recognised and it marks the start of Earth Science Week. For further information about Earthcaching, visit www.earthcache.org. EarthCaching is a great way to learn about the environment around us and EarthCaches are generally placed by geocachers with some geoscience knowledge. The idea is to learn something new about the world and have fun with our GPSr's at the same time. There are currently twelve EarthCaches in New Zealand - how about visiting one on Sunday?
